ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Roundtables

Kristi Avalos, President & CEO of Accessology Too, LLC has 40+ years of ADA experience and offers free ADA Roundtables to communities around the country.

PURPOSE:

Accessology offers a FREE ADA Transition Plan Roundtable to any interested entity.  Our Roundtables provide everything you need from beginning to end on how to develop a successful ADA Transition Plan.

Every Title II entity with 50+ people is required to have a current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan in place.  Our mission is to help Title II entities understand their rights and responsibilities to ensure barriers are removed in the most cost-effective way so all citizens have equal access and opportunities.  This information can help your entity avoid the risks of costly litigation and losing government funding.

AGENDA:

We typically allow two hours for the ADA Roundtable starting with a 1-hour ADA Transition Plan presentation and ending with a Q&A session.

We can create a Roundtable specifically for your entity or you can host the event and invite other entities that might be interested (e.g., state/local agencies, universities/school districts, prisons) to ensure the whole community gets this essential information.

We can come in a day before and get a feel for what you may need, send you some preliminary information and tailor the presentation to you and your upper level staff members so your team can hear the same information at the same time and ask all the questions they want.  We will also review your website looking for all of the things the Department of Justice might look for and present this information as part of the presentation.

EXPECTATIONS:
There are no hidden costs, agendas, or obligations.  This is not a sales pitch.  At the end of the presentation, the remainder of the session is for your entity to get your questions answered.  If your organization determines that you need assistance with any component of preparing your ADA Transition Plan, Accessology hopes that you would consider partnering with us at that time.

If you think this might be beneficial to your community, please contact us.
