Accessology is pleased to announce new trainings and new locations. We have had so much demand for quality training on accessibility and we’ve developed the training to meet the need. Our new training classes include:
ADA for Title II Entities – This training was developed to help Title II Entities (state agencies, municipalities, universities and school districts) understand their responsibilities and respond to the daunting task of developing their transition plan (or updating an existing transition plan) and inventory everything from sidewalks and curb ramps, to facilities, to programs, services and activities. We help with the emergency planning, the development of the transition plan document and provide additional training for the entity’s employees.
Understanding The Fair Housing Act Design Guidelines – This training is for architects, builders, developers and owners. It’s an in-depth study of the Fair Housing Act, the design guidelines and how to apply them. We help participants understand their responsibilities under the Act. We make a difficult and confusing law manageable and help the attendees understand how to best protect themselves from access related incidents.
Common Mistakes in Access – This training takes legal cases and often found mistakes and breaks them down into categories. We go through the common myths, mistakes and inaccuracies found all around the country and sets the record, and the participants, straight.
